Company Profile

Products & Services

With its headquarters in Graz (manufactory) and Thalheim (racing & development center), the KTM Sportcar GmbH is the manufacturer of KTM’s super sports car, the KTM X-BOW.

Since 2008, more than 1,500 vehicles have been sold worldwide. The KTM X-BOW is distributed in more than 40 countries, amongst them markets like Australia, China or North America. With a yearly maximum of 100 units, the KTM X-BOW variants “R”, “RR”, “GT4”, “GT”, “GTX”, “GT2” and “GT-XR” are assembled by hand from a small team of specialists. The KTM X-BOW Graz plant is one of the most high-tech small-series automotive factories in the world. Besides homologated models for street use, the KTM Sportcar GmbH is focused in racing. The KTM X-BOW GT4 is one of the most successful GT4 vehicles, racing against the biggest as well as most legendary sports car manufacturers in the world and on the most iconic race tracks like Nürburgring, Bathurst or Spa-Francorchamps. Since the racing season 2020, the ultimate track weapons KTM X-BOW GTX and KTM X-BOW GT2 amplify the racing ambitions of the KTM Sportcar GmbH even further and take its racing heritage to a new level.

With the production version of the KTM X-BOW, KTM presented its interpretation of a super sports car for the 21st century.
Since June 2008, all models of the KTM X-BOW have been manufactured in the purpose-built factory in Graz, Styria. The race and street cars of KTM, as well as those of its customers, are serviced on site at the modern X-BOW racing center in Thalheim near Wels, Upper Austria – whether a simple service or overhaul is needed, or an exciting upgrade with the KTM X-BOW PowerParts gets done. In addition, the complete vehicle and PowerPart development takes place at this location. The opening in 2018 also marked the 10th birthday of the KTM X-BOW. In June 2016, the 1000th KTM X-BOW was produced. The organization of the annual X-BOW Trackdays is also one of the successful services provided by KTM Sportcar GmbH.
