Company Profile

Products & Services

ZFG-Altherm is a leading engineering office for technical building equipment and a companion for the most demanding construction projects at home and abroad.

In 1985, Ferdinand Zechner, Josef Fellhofer and Josef Grafenauer founded their own engineering office, ZFG-Projekt GmbH. With the first customers, your passion for technology and your attention to detail, you write an inimitable success story with a lot of care, commitment and determination.

In 1997 they set up their own office building in Baden and already employed 20 people. In 2009, the Altherm engineering office in Baden was taken over and the business area expanded to include electrical engineering and conveyor technology.

The result of the last 37 years are over 2,000 well-known projects in the areas of hotel, office and administration buildings as well as healthcare facilities, laboratories and pharmaceuticals, universities and infrastructure – from the new main station in Vienna, the Floridsdorf clinic, to the DC Tower and the ERSTE Campus to international lighthouse projects.

This requires performance, precision and experience: today the ZFG-Altherm team comprises over 150 employees at the three locations in Baden, Grimmenstein and Pinkafeld. Your daily task is to develop individual solutions for highly complex and technically demanding challenges.

This „engineering art“ includes planning, consulting and implementation quality at the highest level through to local construction supervision.
