A&R Carton Graz – Technical skills uniquely combined

Founded back in 1868 as an art printing company, it was later bought by Alfred Wall and stayed in family ownership until 2001, when the US MWV group acquired the operation. Due to expansion and innovation the company became a leader in the packaging industry. Since May 2015 the company has been a part of the Swedish AR Packaging Group based in Lund. Today, A&R Carton Graz with its 36,000 m² production and logistics area and around 420 employees is one of the largest packaging manufacturers in Europe.
High-quality folding cartons are produced for the tobacco, confectionery and consumer goods industries. The classic folding carton production in offset printing with die-cutting and gluing zones, as well as industrial rotogravure printing combined with innovative finishing processes, offer ­customers unprecedented opportunities.
The company serves the entire value chain also having a successful design team for structural packaging development. Furthermore, A&R Carton Graz is the only Austrian gravure printer that produces its printing cylinders in-house.
The international customer base includes well-known brands such as Mars, Wrigley, Mondelëz, Triumph, British American Tobacco and Imperial Tobacco.
