In 2008 new premises were constructed in Preding/Weiz to house one of Europe’s most modern motor and generator factories.

ELIN Motoren GmbH serves a worldwide client base from this location. As a global player, ELIN Motoren GmbH also operates the subsidiary company ELIN Motors Bosnia d.o.o. in Živinice (Bosnia and Herzegovina), as well as ELIN Metal Kft. in Bátonyterenye (Hungary) and is part of a joint venture in India. In total the ELIN-group employs approx. 1,000 co-workers.
